PSE 6: Broken Raw Tumbnail

Hello,
I’m on this forum because of the problems in PSE 6 and the Organizer problems with raw files. I keep getting these dammed broken thumbnail images that are taking way too much of my time to resolve…not!
I already tried the posted solution which is to remove the multi processor support file from the Adobe directory and I’m still cannot get the thumbnail with the image of the file to show. Any help would be appreciated.
I was planning to wait for PSE 8, but because of all the problems I’ve been having I was going to throw in the towel and buy PSE 7 today because someone mentioned the problem has been fixed there.
I am a heavy Organizer user! I lots of pics, but fix limited images, When I do it usual a few clicks with he auto options, clarity slider, etc.
Does anyone know if the problem is fixed in PSE7?
Do I buy it now or not?

I don't know if this is your specific problem but one of the most common causes of Broken Thumbnails is that folks Move, Delete or Rename image files outside of Elements Organiser - e.g using Windows Explorer.

Elements Organiser is only a database. The thumbnails of your images are not the real image - merely links to the location of the original image file. Change the location or name without letting Elements know results in a Broken Thumbnail

Other possible causes have been related to image size and amount of memory in your PC. Typically this is not much a problem these days with high spec PCs

FWIW: I don't get this problem either on a Quad Core Vista Machine or Dual Core XP machine.
