Creating Large Text

issue of Element Technigues tells me to enlarge text by using the handles around the text. I click on it and nothing and drag it and nothing happens

Hi Pulsifier... welcome to Elements Village. After typing the text and with the text layer still active, get the Move tool... make sure "Show Bounding Box" is checked at the top in the options bar. Then you should be able to drag outward on the corner handles to enlarge the text.
