As we were resting in a small park in Bar Harbor, Maine last week, a group of young people showed up, all brandishing cameras (mostly DSLRs). They thought it was a hoot that the "old lady" (me) asked them to line up and pose for a picture. :D

So here's the next generation of Villagers, I hope:

Great job... I hope you got their information...I'll bet they didn't take a group picture like you did.

You know, I didn't think of getting their info until much later. But I did see several of them taking similar photos of their group, so I got them thinking about it anyway. They were so cute. I'm sure they were thinking the same of me, but in a more patronizing way! LOL

Shar, that is such a neat idea and a cute photo of them. Their expressions show how much fun they were having.

Awesome shot, Shar! I love the layout you came up with. The kids look like they were enjoying you as much as you were enjoying them! You make a great ambassodor for the Village!!

Hmmm, thats a good question Shar, did you happen to mention the Village to these up and coming famous Photographers?

I bet they felt overwhelmed that Shar took a more creative outlook at them then they did to either each other or this Beautiful Young Woman who they might have thought they outclassed her because there younger?

I think thats whats funny about age. They learn something new (to them) and they think that only they have this knowledge, and can't fathom that anybody older then them already might posses this knowledge. Because they just learnt it, there the first to have it and they think there smarter then anybody else because they know it and you don't.

Now I'm not saying everybody is this way but I have found a lot actually do and I'm not only talking Art or Photography as Art either.

No, actually, I didn't mention The Village to them. I figure anyone worth their salt will find their way here! ROTF! :D :D :D
