Design a background for blog.

I like to design my own background to my blog instead of inport from someone that made them for free.

Do anyone know wherer I can find a tutorial on this för blogspot. I need to know how big the background should be - so the edges work with the text.

Where in the htlm-code should I put the new background and so on.
