Hi,
I would very much appreciate if somebody can give me step by step advice to integrate family images within letters and numerals. I am a starter on PSE7.
Thanx.

Hi Ramesh ..
... and welcome to the Village :)
What you need to do is first type in your text then add the photo to text file ...
Now just do File>Group with Previous.
... once you have done that then the photo will only show up in the area covered by the text.
Hope that helps :)

Thanx Wendy for your quick response. Pardon my ignorance! I was not successful with PSE 7. Would it be possible to give me little more elaborate instructions. Appreciate it.
Cheers.

Hi Ramesh ...
First you need to create a file the size you wish your final image to be .. File>New Blank File.
Then Select the Type Tool and type in the text your want.
Now open you photograph and do Select>All the Edit>Copy
Go back to the next text file you created and do Edit>Paste
Now to File>Group with Previous :)

Hi Ramesh,
Could you be more specific? What's the problem exactly?

I just followed Sepiana's link and it was an easy to follow tutorial.
Just keep the tutorial on the screen and follow step by step.
Bookmark it for future use, or copy it for your files as the link may change.

Hi Ramesh,
If you click on the word 'tut' in Sepiana's post, that will take you to a tutorial that will give you clear instructions.

Hello Inspeqtor, Frank, Sepiana, Wendy,
I must thank all of you for trying to help me out. It appears I need to use Photoshop CS4 to incorporate multiple photos within individual letters &/or numerals.
Still at it, trying to learn the ropes. I understand it can be in two ways. With one it is possible to move the photos all together and with the other way selectively one by one once they are incoporated within a letter or number.
It would help if any of you can give some step by step procedure.
Appreciate your help.

Hi ...
You really do not need CS4 to do this ...
Just try out the steps I gave you in message No 4 and it will work ..
If you get stuck then just tell us which step you are up to and also tell us what is on screen that doesn't seem to be working and we will talk you through it.
Wendy :)

Did you want to put a different picture in each letter?

Hi Ramesh ...
Unless you tell us exactly what problems you have when you follow the instructions then I don't think that anyone is going to be able to help you. :(
