The always hard to choose IOW and a handful of other favorites for the week ending July 6:

Waterlily 2 by Mariangela (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13671&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10)looks like a piece of framed art one would purchase for their home. She generously shares her tips for creating this effect in the comments section of her image if anyone wants to try it.

All Star Sketch by Johnny (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13640&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10)is just that--an all star sketch. I like the sketch effect tucked in behind the vignetted photo.

Indian Entertainer by dbarta (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13621&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10)is a great photo full of texture and subtle color with an interesting background replacing the original.

Home from the Sea by Moose (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13619&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10)is a great created image using photos and texture. I like the something new from something old aspect of created images.

Tugboat by bob (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13616&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10)mielke is a wonderful photo with lots of texture, depth and color. It caught my eye when it first showed up in the gallery and stuck with me until this morning.

I could have easily included another half dozen or so well done, artistic or just plain fun images so my congratulations and appreciation go out to everyone who posted images in the gallery this week!

Lorri I really like your presentation of the images you choice this week. Second I want to thank you for selecting my Indian entertainer image as one of your choices. Congratulations to all those that were chosens for your great work. I agree that the water lily is fantastic.

Mariangela's Water Lily was exactly the right pick for image of the week. I am proud to have an "also ran", but hers was a well-balanced, beautiful photograph to begin with, and then just lightly embellished with PSE. My hat is off to you, Mariangela, for having produced such a beautiful image.

Great display of wonderful Images Lorri, and I most appreciate Moose's comments on the winner it makes him a winner too, but then all the images you selected are winners, as are you with that creative design.
