I lost my Great Dane to bloat the week before Mother's Day and my house has not been the same since. I found an amazing breeder and my long awaited "Duke" is here - he is a Blue Mantle and I'M IN LOVE!! He was born on July 4th too! YAY! Pics in my gallery....

Yipes! that is one brand new puppy. They all grow so fast but danes must grow at light speed! Have fun, I figure a day is a week in puppy time...

So sorry about the loss of your Dane. What a sad time.
Your new puppy is adorable. Send more photos of Duke so we can watch him grow too!

I'm sorry about the loss of you Dane.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!! This will be the longest 7 weeks (well, 6 as of this Saturday) of my life waiting for him to come home. I get to go tomorrow and put my deposit - so more pics!! She sent me a pic of him at 4 days old and he was already sooo much bigger. His eyes won't even be open yet but I am beyond excited!

Duke is a sweetie - how precious! I hope you have a very long and lasting friendship. I'm sorry about your loss-it's hard to lose a friend.

I put up pics of him from this weekend - he is 6.1 pounds already!!! He is 2 weeks old now - 5 1/2 long more weeks till he comes home. New pics are in my gallery.

Yet more pics - he's gonna be blinded by my flash before I even get him home! My breeder is awesome - she lets us visit every week - he needs his own scrapbook now!

Been so busy - been gone from the boards but so many people asked for updates as he grows. He just turned 3 months on Sunday and is just over 50 pounds. He is SOOO well behaved. I mean he is a puppy but knows so many commands I can't keep up with him. I need to learn how to train him new ones he gets them so fast :-) He is a doll and a ham in front of the camera. Posting new pics to my gallery.
