Any Plug-Ins for ADDITIONAL Text Effects???

Upfront, I apologize for the Newbie Dumb-Question-of-the-Day...but as I finally ditched good ol' Adobe PhotoDeluxe for PSE 7, I need a little help with adjusting to the new century.

I am using the 'Filter for Text Effects' to add fancy captions to my pix. (I guess it is called 'Text Effects'. The effects are called 'simple outer', 'simple pillow emboss', and so on.)

I love those Text Effects! But darn, there are only 10 text effects included with PSE 7.

QUESTION? Is there any way to acquire more text effects? Any third-party plug-ins that supply more text effects?

I thank all who provide advice and guidance.

Hi Preston ...

I'm using PSE6 so I'm not quite sure with filter you are using ... however you can apply any of Layer Styles to Text Layers so try out some of those :)

Many of the patterns can be applied to text and then beveled or embossed later. You can also apply inner and outer glows to text. Then there's also the the warp tool which is available when the test is active. After you've applied a n "effect" you can go in and edit it by clicking on the fx icon on the right side of the text layer in the layers palette.

Be aware that some "effects" are cumulative. You can apply a pattern, an outer glow, bevel, stained glass, etc. to the same layer. This can give you some interesting results. To clear everything just right click on the layer in the layer palette and chose Clear Layer Styles.
