View Full Version : Build a Web Site with PSE 7 and SiteGrinder?

As a longtime user of FrontPage, I realized it was time to move into the 21st Century. I almost bought Adobe Dreamweaver when I stumbled across a Photoshop plug-in called SiteGrinder2 Pro on the Adobe site.

Supposedly, SiteGrinder allows one to convert his/ her Photoshop designs into web pages. SiteGrinder, like ol' Frontpage, does the coding for you.

QUESTIONS???

Has anyone ever created web pages with PSE 7? Does PSE 7 have the capability to create decent web pages? OR, is the creation of web pages best done with Photoshop CS4?

Has anybody ever used SiteGrinder2? Does it work well? Specifically, does it work well with PSE 7? Is its learning curve less step than Dreamweaver?

I shall be deeply grateful for any info and guidance...especially since SiteGrinder is not inexpensive ($349).

Thank you all!

Here is a free program. Does not have all the bells and whistles. Works well.

Preston,

Have you been online to the sitegrinder2 FAQs?
http://www.medialab.com/sitegrinder/support/whatarethesystemrequirements.html

That seems to say that it should work with Photoshop Elements 7. You will note that "Download Trial Demo Now" option on the link that I cited.

From your post, I was not sure if you even had Photoshop Elements 7 at this point. You could also download the free 30 day tryout for Photoshop Elements 7.

I have not tried it, but it sounds like a great way to go.

Please update us on your progress.
