While in Hot Topic buying my kid green dye for his hair (yeah I know - he's a good kid though so it's all good) I saw this woman working, pale skin, flawless skin - beautiful with tats and platinum hair. We got to talking and I am doing a shoot for her. I saw her myspace and she is GORGEOUS all dolled up. Now I know NOTHING of this era - any ideas for this shoot? I'm sure she will have some as the pics she has of her are taken by friends and clearly staged well but I'd like to bring something else to the table. I am sooo excited!!

Amy, not seeing what the subject looks like I would suggest a soft black and white or a duotone, but not a sepia one.
Use a studio type background with a perhaps a black and a gray duotone.
This may help you, or do a duotone search.

If you want to search out 1920's images try looking in the library of congress - they have millions on line...
