I am looking for blue sky numbers.
If I replace a sky and use a gradient fill I need a starting set of RGB numbers for the Blue.
I cannot remember where I found such a number before but looking at an image I made at that time I have the following RGB numbers 26 100 191.
This is a fairly intense blue.
I would like to know if anyone has a set of numbers that they use for say, California Blue, Mediterranean Blue, Northern Europe Blue etc that would be a useful starting point?

Hi ...
I tend to just use the blue colour from another image ... so I vary it every time I use it

I agree with Wendy.
Search for free sky photos, find one you like and place it into your document.
You can find skies with all sorts of clouds.
You can probably get a reading of blues you like and use them in a gradient.

I always carry a small camera in my purse. Every time a see a beautiful blue sky with some nice fluffy clouds, I take a photo. I have a folder with many differents skies and use them to replace gray skies in my regular photos.

I do use this method but thought it would be easier to start with a set of "known" numbers.

I take pictures of the sky and have them in a folder and then use one of the sky tutorials. (http://www.alibony.com/video/video-lesson12.htm)
You could also find a sky that you like, open it in Editor and click on the color swatch, move your mouse of the color in the sky and click on it. That way you will have created your own starting number.
