I want to bracket in continuous mode where I will get -2EV, EV Metering, +2 EV. I want to use those 3 exposures in an attempt at HDR photography. Would someone who has a Nikon D70 tell me exactly how to get the exposures I want in continuous shooting mode?
Thanks!

Hey Mary -
I use a d80, but assume some similarities and a glance at the d70 manual online makes it sound like a similar process, so here goes.
Bracketing will likely work in any of P, A, S, or M modes, but you'll probably want to be in aperture mode if you're bracketing for HDR use.
Push and hold down the BKT button on the back of your camera and then use one of the command dials to select the aperture differences you want, and the other to select whether you want to bracket above exposure, below exposure or both. For HDR I usually use 3 shots bracketed 2 stops over and under.
A tip ... when you're done with your bracketed shot, don't forget to turn bracketing off, which is done by holding the BKT button and roatating the main command dial until bkt no longer shows in the display panel. I can't tell you how many shots I've over or under exposed by leaving the feature turned on.:o
You can set continuous shooting in the usual manner whether or not the bracket feature is on.
Hope that helps a little. Here's a link to the manual (http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/manuals/dslr/D70_en.pdf) ... see page 87 if you need clearer instructions.
Hope you'll show off the results!

Thanks for the help. I can't seem to get it right, however. There must be something I am not doing right within my camera because when I set the bracket and push the shutter, the camera clicks once and I get 3 pictures but none of the pictures are bracketed. Am I making sense? I'll keep trying.
