No don't need info on loading ATN files but I cannot for the life of me find anything in this forum that tells me what the heck I am seeing.
Sometimes when I go to apply actions I will get the following message:
"The command set is not currently available"
"The object current path is not currently available"
"The object work path is not currently available"
This happens when I try to apply some actions. The messages above were from three different actions. There are more messages but probably figure it out if I understood the problem causing the aforementioned.

Some actions are specifically made for photoshop and will not work in pse, i suspect this is why you are getting these messages.

Don't you sleep? lol never expected an answer that quickly at this time in am. My guess was that they were written for CS but had never run into anything like that in the long time (6) months using PSE - so thought I would ask - maybe others will have comments.
Thanks! - go to bed! lol

What actions are you trying to run?
What layer are you trying to apply it to? Sometimes if you are applying it the Background Layer, the action won't work.
Just need a little more info.

This example I took a photo and made 3 layers which I then selected an action from my list which was called "3.0 Masks" and applied it to the 3rd layer. These particular actions are not the ones that I originally spoke about.
Hope this helps.

From you screen shot shot I see that you are trying to use the actions from the Elements+ set.
First they do work. I have them installed myself. However, for some of them to work you may need to do something else first, or they need to be applied to a special layer. For instance, if you look at some of the masks in the 4.0 Masks section, you have a whole list of Masks. The top ones can be applied to a regular layer. Also, if you noticed that some of the action icons have a small black square and white square in the lower right corner. This means that it needs to be applied to a smart objects.
What helped me understand and use Elements+ was that I printed off the help manual that came with the action set.
If you have any other questions, just ask.

OK. Looking again at your 1st screen shot, the warning message said could not make. Did you try the "16. Vector Mask from Shape" action?
To do this:
1) Place a Shape Layer above the Layer you want to mask.
2) Click on "16. Vector Mask from Shape" this will place the Shape Layer next to the Layer below it and make the Shape into a mask.
3) You can then press "20. Rasterize Vector Mask" to turn the Shape Mask into a regular Layer Mask.

You can find the Elements+ actions at
http://simplephotoshop.com/downloads/index.htm#elem+
Try the free demo (they are like Grant's tools) if you like them, then I recommend purchasing the full version for $12. It has over 150 actions that are very useful. These actions brings things a little closer to having the full version of Photoshop

To really understand the Elements+ action set (if you get the full version) I really suggest that you print out the manual and read it. Some actions need to be done first, before another can be done.
It really is worth the cost. You get paths, smart objects, smart filters, layer masks, vectors masks. It really helps improve Elements and makes it closer to Photoshop.

Thanks - Yep I purchased the set from Elements+ so I will read the manual. Just starting in with PSE7 so have a lot to learn.
