I found kind of a neat look by using the Corey Barker video tutorial in the PET Subscriber area. I made a brush according to the video "Make A Wirebrush Frame". On a 12 X 12 background I used the brush on the edges. I set the spacing at about 3-5%.
Dragging the brush in swirl motions around the edges gives a look like tulle netting. Should be good for girly or wedding themes. Here is an example:
