John's Painted Vignette

This site is mostly Corel Painter stuff, but there are a few Photoshop templates that can be used in PSE. The one that I particularly love is John's Painted Vignette by John Derry. The download includes a PSD template and a PDF instruction file. You can also add a different background layer in on top of the white background... I have used a brick wall photo that works great.

Excellent link! I did find you must have high resolution photos to use with this. My SIL sent me some 72 ppi, and they just don't work. I'm having him send me the higher ppi photos of the same photos.
