I joined the subscriber section six months ago, and I appreciate the extra help the tutorials and the magazine bring. However, I cannot acquire a binder for the magazines since folders for the three-hole system do not seem to be available in the UK.

That is a shame, since without a means for keeping them together they are easily lost, as I discovered two days ago, when my newly-arrived May/June issue disappeared and I found it only after I emptied the paper recycling wheelie bin on the drive, after several unsucessful attempts at rooting around the contents in situ.

Have any of your UK readers any knowledge about where such folders can be found, or, if not, perhaps copies destined for the UK could have the holes punched for the UK two-hole system?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Yours,

Bob

I suppose if necessary, you could buy a 2 hole punch tool and add some extra holes. For really low tech fasten a a cheap bracelet or string through the holes.

Another solution would be to get some of those magazine holders, made of heavy cardboard. I don't know what they're called, but that's what I use, in preference to a binder. Mine came from Ikea, and I've seen plastic ones too.

Bob,

I put all my newsletters into a plastic sleeve/pouch which has holes down the side and then store them in a regular 2 or 4 hole binder.

If there is an American military base anywhere near your town, you might get someone to look in their Base Exchange for a three ring binder or stop by a US company and ask them if they have any US three ring binders. They may sell you a couple or even give you one. These are pretty standard in offices in the US and they usually keep extras on hand.

You could also look at Staples or Office Depot websites and I would think they may ship to Europe, but I don't know about expense.

Here is a link for a company that sells some types of US binders in the UK

You might Google 'US three ring binders in UK' and see what you get

Good luck
