Catalog Backup

I am using PSE - 7 with Vista. I have done a full backup of my catalog to an EHD. I am trying to do an incremental backup but get an error message - no explanation of what the error is. I think the problem may be what I identify as the Backup Path. I browse for the path but not sure what to chose. Thanks for any help! arjay

It sure would help to see the error message you got.

The backup path for an incremental is usually a folder on your EHD. Not the same folder as the full backup, and certainly not the root directory on your EHD.

The error message says, "Error encountered while writing file". There is no other explanation.
