Hello,
I saw the Epson printer R1900 offered at Staples (http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/c22_All-Photo-Printers_26455__Supplies_10092)online and wondered if anyone has ever used the Rebate from Visa prepaid card and needed information on how it works. My assumption is that I buy from Staples: $549 minus $100 instant rebate ( Epson is offering the same discount) then a rebate Visa prepaid card of another $100 making the final cost at $349; I am assuming the rebate card that I will receive could be used on any other purchase but not sure how it works and if it is limited to only at certain retailers.

If any of you have ever used it I would appreciate any information about it.
Thanks Vesta

In this case of that printer at Staples, it is my understanding from Staples online C/S that this $100 Visa Pre-Paid card can be used anywhere that "accepts Visa Pre-Paid cards".

However, it is not uncommon to find this type of offer where a rebate card is limited to use in the business place of purchase.

But, I would double check with Staples in your location just to make double sure.

(I did not actually purchase this printer.)

Thanks ATR I called Staples and they said the card was good at any retailer that took Visa.

Now Vesta - are you trying to get a better deal on that R1900 than I got? Good for you. ;)
