This was the first in a series of shots that I took at Jinhae Bay just at Sunset. I think this first one was the best. The sunset was not that spectacular that night, but was enhanced with PS. Oh, and the bird was added from another image from a previous trip to the bay. Hope you like it.

Nicely done. Importing the bird into this image not only works very nicely you did a great job and it blends in very well.

Over here in New York we just heard about the ex-President committing suicide over there. What is the mood in the Street? How does it effect the troops on the American Side? Is there a lot more anxiety due to this?

Its a strange situation, how has this made the day to day lives of our Troops effect the relationships to the Korean People if any?

At work, we have a lot of exposure to the Korean People who live and work nearby. We are building maintenance and have to go in and repair there apartments. When we have to go back to work on Tuesday, we will see how this will affect the relationship we have with the these very nice sweet and generous people.

It is a sad day here in Korea. Being the weekend, I have not had a chance to talk with my co-workers at Doosan Heavy Industries. The Koreans are a proud people and are more dedicated to their country than anyone else I know; the investigations into corruption were bad enough, but this death of their former leader is a real blow to the Korean image.

Hi Joe;

The image is stunning as is. I do have a question ... I am into panos lately
and am wondering what it would look like with the bottom 25% cut off.

This is gorgeous. Nice job blending in the bird...if you wouldn't have told us, I wouldn't have known! :)

Tom, Thank you. Someone else mentioned a panorama on this also. It is an interesting thought. I was considering taking several adjacent shots next time to try to stitch together a sunset panorama. I am not sure how it would work with the light changing so quickly at sunset.

Thank you Val, I have tried this several times and keep learning more each time. The job is a little easier as my bird shots are against a clear sky, so it is easier to make the selection.
