monitor profiling

Hello, im new member to this site, and i have to say im very glad i found it, I have a problem, and hope someone has a answer for me: I cant find my disc for elements 5 which has the gamma profile program for profiling my monitor, and wonder if there is anywherei can download a gamma or even better program to profile my monitor, my images arent matchin g what my printer puts out, and i have already set the profiles in 7 to the color management profile for printing, I thank anyone for assistance,

Mel, you will be far better of investing in a hardware/software duo like Spyder or Huey. The Adobe Gamma was hit or miss, and frankly I wouldn't rely up on it if I were having serious issues with your monitor/printer.
