Thanks

Check out this old thread....

For other appropriate situations, check out free program Audacity

How are you using this shotgun microphone, as an attachment to the Canon camcorder?

Is the audio only showing up on one side/channel? There are audio effects that will copy one channel to the other, Fill Left or Fill Right depending on what channel has audio.

You can also just copy the audio to another track, duplicating it, then add the Swap Channels effect to one of them, that will also produce audio to both left and right channels.

Check out my reply in this thread. The very first link in that post includes your audio Fill Left and Fill Right that you offered in that thread as well as this one.

But, a good thing is always good to restate.

You are attaching the shotgun microphone to your camcorder for recording video, right? Not to your computer as a desktop microphone?

That is what I thought, but just checking. I was not sure about shotgun microphone details and did not want you to get into narration problems if you attempted to use the microphone as a desktop microphone from which to record your Premiere Elements narrations.
