Have converted some Sony RAW files to DNG.
The Sony files can be previewed so that I can choose which image to edit.
However when I try to preview the DNG I can only see a standard logo which means I have to look at the files in a different program then remember the file number to open in Elements 6.
Seems odd that DNG has less functionality than Sony RAW files.
Any body any idea how I can preview DNG files iin Elements ( and CS2 )
Cheers
Jeff
PS I converted to DNG so that I can use the CS2 raw converter for the pictures taken on my Sony A100 and A200 cameras.

Where are you trying to preview the DNG files? In Windows? You probably can't. You should be able to preview them in Elements Organizer, though.

Jeff, remind me, does CS2 come with Bridge? The current Bridge CS4 does show DNG files. Also, when you do a File Open, in Elements Editor, while the file list display doesn't show a thumbnail, if you click on the DNG icon, a thumb is displayed below.
You might also want to check into a free file browser called Faststone Viewer. It will display DNG files as icons, and can set up to launch Elements with the selected file.

Opened Bridge for the first time 5 minutes ago and it does show previews of DNG files.
Downloaded Fasstone Viewer about 3 minutes ago and that also previews DNG with the option to view a large image of each file in turn.
Thanks very much for your help.
Cheers
