A lot of details missing in that post, so let us fill some in and work together to figure this out.
What do you mean by
The ext. was change. ?
That is just one from many basic questions.
1. What program are you using to create your slideshow...Photoshop Elements (what version?) and/or Premiere Elements (what version?).
2. What is going into this slideshow..photos (what size/pixel dimensions and how many) and video (what format, duration, how many video clips)? What do you intend to do with this slideshow that you are creating (VCD or DVD-VIDEO for playback on TV via TV/DVD player or playback on the computer)?
3. What are your computer resources (available RAM and free hard drive space)? What is your computer operating system.
Now that we have that all asked, I am going to take a guess that you are trying to create a slideshow in Photoshop Elements. I will just make some very general remarks about getting photos into the Filmstrip of the Photoshop Elements Slideshow Editor (details when we get more details of your specific situation)....
1. Open the Organizer where your photos are displayed as thumbnails, highlight the ones that you want in the slideshow, then hit Create, slideshow, ..the photos will appear in the Filmstrip scenes.
2. If you do not highlight the photos in the Organizer and go the above route, you will not have any photos in the Slideshow Editor Filmstrip. In that case, you could go to "Add Media" in the Slideshow Editor and bring the photos into the Filmstrip via Photo & Video from Organizer or from Folder.
If it would be easier for you, maybe just go step by step describing what you are doing and observing, filling in the necessary details so that I know what program that you are using
and how you are using it to create a slideshow
and for what viewing purpose.
