Get a big carafe of coffee and sit down for an hour and peruse the old posts. Just spend some time here and you will begin to get a feel for "what to ask." It IS daunting, but when I see how far I've come in a year and a half, I can't believe it. This is a friendly, helpful village.

I'd suggest starting with the tutorials right here on these boards. Corey Barker's are very easy to follow and can be paused while you go try things out.

First decide on what you want to accomplish. Do you want to just enhance your photos, do retouching and restoration on old photos or maybe even scrapbook your photos. Then you can find the tutorials and information you need right here.
