error message for mac updater

Hi again
Every now and again Elements tries to update itself and I keep getting an error message. It is trying to update "Raw 4 and 4.6" for Mac. The message is the updater is unable to locate the product to be updated. Installation incomplete. I tried to find help on Adobe's site but could not find the right page for support. Is there anyone out there that can help me solve this issue? Thanks. Lance

Here is the page where you can download the correct version of Camera Raw for PSE6 (Mac):

Alas, adobe's updater doesn't play with macs, so we have to do it manually. Just make very sure get the right update and instructions for your PSE/mac combo as there is a lot to dig through to find it.

FWIW, the adobe updater can't update raw in PSE for either platform.

Oooh, thank you for posting this! My Mac has been giving me the same error message for awhile now. I tried to figure it out and couldn't so I just resorted to deleting the update as soon as it popped up. Maybe with the link someone suggested I'll be able to fix the problem!

Thanks Wendy. I down loaded the update but when I clicked on the "Raw plug in" I get the error message saying "Photoshop does not recognize this type of file". If you have any more tips I would appreciate it. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Take care. Lance

You should be able to download and use the 5.3 Camera Raw update :)
