Jerky playback on TV

I have just had a first attempt at creating a video with Elements 2.0. Having been pleased with the way the DVD played back on the computer, I then found some pieces of video stuttered when played back on a TV.

I set DVD burn to high quality.

Is this a common occurence and something I just have to live with? Or any other ideas?

Hi RegMid and Welcome to the forum!
Someone else is having that same problem - you can probably find the thread but I don't think anyone has come up with a solution for them yet. I think Premier is very particular about hardware resources and the video card requirement is very specific.

Thanks for that. I guess I just wasn't clear whether the problems in that thread were the same as mine, i.e. the difference between playback between PC and TV.

I'll keep watching the Forum to see whether anyone com,es up with some helpful suggestions.
