Question on Photo Bin

For some reason when I load photos into the Editor I can't see the photo bin, so I click to open it and I can see the photos. The deal is it only stays open for few seconds and then closes out of site, I can click it over and over but it keeps hiding the photo bin. Why is it doing that ? I havent done anything different ?

Tony, go to Edit > Preferences > General and see if Project Bin Auto Hide is checked. If it is, uncheck it and see if that helps.

Tony, you may also need to manually open it, by hovering the mouse pointer over the edge, click and drag up to open and size it. After turning Auto Hide off it should no longer automatically close on you.

Auto Hide is actually useful if you need the extra screen workspace. With it turned ON, hover your pointer on the edge, and a moment later it will pop open, and will stay open as long as your cursor is inside it, move the cursor outside of it and it "auto hides". The reason it was closing on you after only a few seconds is probably because your cursor was outside the bin.
