Hi again, sorry for so many postings but I have another question that I have asked before and haven't had the chance to get back on here to answer some of the questions asked of me.
I went ahead and purchased the elements techniques program or whatever it was called but I can't seem to view any of the tutorials. They start and I get all excited, but then only after about a minute, they stop. Someone asked me what browser I am using, but I don't know what that means exactly, (sorry, I am not very computer savy), and what speed. Where can I find that out so I can answer correctly. I am using windows xp and am using dsl so it's not as bad as dial up although since I have switched my dsl after moving, I am noticing that it isn't as fast as the other service I had, but still even at that, the bar on the tutorials don't move at all after the first minute. It just sits there. Any help would sure be appreciated. I only ordered the program because I am a "see it to understand it girl" and I really wanted to view the tutorials.
Hey thanks, and sorry if this seems like I'm a comlete idiot....Darlene:(

Hi, this link will take you to the download page where you can download the PET tutorials
and watch them on your computer without being online.
Follow the instructions.
http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31469

The page is in the General section - first link(it is sticky).

It may also be a problem with your version of QuickTime.
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime?
Sometimes that helps.
Some people have downloaded the free VLC player to be able to watch the videos.

Good luck.
The videos are a great way to learn.

Hi Darlene ..

Your browser is just the program that you use to look at web pages ... most people use either Internet Explorer or Firefox :)

If you have a slow(ish) connection then it may be better to start the Video to download to your computer ... make yourself a cup of coffee while it downloads to your desktop. Then later just watch it on your own computer ... that may be better for you :)

Here is the link to the direct download page for the video tutorials

http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/subscriber/video_download.php

It will ask you to log in in order to get there. Once there, you will have a list of all the tutorials. Just Right Click > Save Target As... and then save the video to your hard drive.

You can then view them when ever you wish.

Another thing you may want to try is also view the videos in another browser such as Google Chrome (which is free), or some other browsers.
