Can't load RAW files from new Nikon D60

Just got a new Nikon D60. I can get the raw files to load with Nikon software incl. w/ camera, but I can't get the files to load with PSE 5 or Lightroom 1. I have checked every setting in Lightroom and Elements but obviously am missing something. One reason I wanted this new camera is to shoot raw. Help!

You need to download and install Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4040) for the raw photos to be processed in Photoshop Elements.

I don't think Lightroom 1 can read Nikon D60 photos. You need Lightroom 2.

Thank you. I downloaded the Adobe raw update and guess I will have to get Lightroom 2 upgrade. I knew when I got a new camera it would cause me to have to upgrade lots more stuff. Isn't that always the way???

Read this Adobe TechNote, especially about DNG, and you may not need to upgrade but just use the free 5.3 DNG converter:_
