I have PSE 6. I go to share and then to email attachments. I drag the picture for the attachment. I follow the instructions next, next and hit send to oulook express. It doesn't go anywhere.

I open the pictures in full edit that I want to send, then go to share and click email attachment the pictures will transfer automatically to email then put in email address - click next - then there will be a flashing box at bottom of screen that is your email - double click to open screen, edit as needed then send. Your email needs to be open and minimized or it will not send until the next time you open.

Thank you Dean for your input.
I followed all your steps until The flashing box at the bottom. It didn't happen.(no flashing box) Everything happened except again it would not send. It is ironic as I used to go to share ,email attachments and drag the photo, put the email address in, hit send no problem. Now it is a problem.
I now go to move to my pictures. Open my pictures, open outlook express drag to that and then send and it works. It should work the other way.

Norm, sometimes when things stop working "as advertised" the three-fingered start sometimes puts things back in order. Always try it before doing a complete reinstall as a last resort.
With Elements closed, hold down the CTRL, ALT and Shift keys at the same time, and then start Elements. After a moment a dialog box will pop up (you can release the three keys at this point) and ask if you want to delete your Settings File, answer yes, and Elements will start with a clean slate of settings, and sometimes, things that stopped working porperly are restored to normal.
Hope it works for you.

When I select photos in the Organizer (PSE 6) to attach to an email, then hit "share" and hit next and next again, it automatically opens Outlook Express and I can then select my recipients. There may be a way to select Outlook Express as your default email program within PSE 6. I can't remember if I had to do that, I just know when doing the above, it automatically opens Outlook Express for me.

You can either choose your recipients in the Organizer, or after Outlook Express opens, you can choose your recipients from there. If you've chosen recipients in either way I mentioned, I'm not sure why it doesn't go ahead and send. Did you look in your "sent" file to see if it perhaps really did go ahead and send?

I tried all that. I can resolve it by moving it to my pictures and then sending it and it works but it should work with PSE6.
Thanks

You are right. It works for me. It should work within PSE 6. Maybe someone will come along with a better answer. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
