Eleanor, it is a tough one, I have been looking at things all week and still don't have a clue as to what to shoot - on purpose anyway. I googled it and found this site with some really awesome examples and explanations that might help.

That was a harder theme than we usually try, but I hope that those of you who posted, or at least tried to find something, found it eye opening. Once I started looking, I kept seeing new things all week that would work. Thanks again to Byron for the theme idea.
Steven - Snow Goo worked very nicely, and you found the secret in that you had to position yourself just so in order to get your shot. Nice tie in with the reflection.
TonyW - Good shot contrasting the natural, colorful blossoms with the starkness of the manmade object (antenna??). Nice eye to see that one.
Eleanor - I love the lampshade hovering over his head!:D Nice shot, and thanks to your son for being a good sport about it all.
TonyK - Talk about being a good sport. That's a great example ... do you happen to know if it was planned??
Toni - That's just a great image ... it really looks like the end. You guys really do up birhtdays in a big way ... sparklers and everything!
Clara - The interplay is great and I love the expression on Roger C.'s face. You're right, the unsuspecting fellow in the background looks like he's about to get it.
Sharon - What a fun idea. You also found someone willing to be a very good sport. I like the photo a lot and the eliptical crop looks great on it.
Nice job folks. There's still plenty of time to post so leave your thinking caps on!

Thanks Bill. Normally at work the birthday person brings in morning tea, but for 'significant' birthdays, like 40, 50, or 60, we do it for them. I can't say I planned this photo, it happened all of it's own accord :D

Bravo to everyone who posted this week! They were all great shots.
I looked hard - but without much luck. We do have a building mural downtown with a pod of orcas on it. I thought of using that, but strangely could not interest the DB in posing with a whale fin sprouting from his head!
Cheers,
Helen

Great link! Thanks! That guy has some vision-some of the things he noticed I would never have thought of.

Bill,
Sorry for the delay in response, I've been running around the country side on vacation. That image was planned of her and the waterfall.
