New PC: why is PSE rotating my photos on import?

I backed up my PSE 4 catalog to an external hard drive along with all of my photos. After copying the photos to my new laptop (Vista 64bit), installing PSE 5 and opening the catalog and importing my photos into PSE 5, the photos come in rotated 90 degrees. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Havent heard of such a problem, but there is a quick solution. Select all the images and select "Rotate by 90" from right click menu.
