Wow, we have barely gotten started, and IMHO this is already one of the best groups of "Be Creative" efforts I have seen in the time I have been part of the Village. Everyone's Orton photos are so unique and expressive. Nice going, all.

There was lots of participation this week. I was so pleased to see some new Villagers joining in. The images were outstanding. It has been a great week.

BJ- A great way to get us started. I love your red rose. Don’t worry about the thumbnails. We all look at the big picture anyway.

Steven- Wow! That is a super image. The lighting on the artwork is perfect. It is a masterpiece. I love everything down to the little purple flowers in the background.

Mary Lou- That is such a beautiful picture and it is perfect for Ortonizing. The process seems to work well on leaves and trees and grass. Great job.

Sepiana- Another beautiful outdoor scene. Your second image, the autumn scene, is a masterpiece. I would love to go there and sit right now!

Doris- I love detail pictures and this is a great one. I love the perspective and the hint of blue water is wonderful.

TonyK- That is certainly a beautiful place. The sky and the ocean are so blue. The blue and the browns look so good together. Love the Orton Effect here.

Tammy- Ortonizing works so well on rushing water. This is a great photograph. I can almost hear the water rushing and feel the cool water spray.

Eleanor- Three great pictures. I love the Orton Effect on the cityscape. The ducks have a very surreal, dreamy look. Great plays.

Bob- Great images- all of them. I like how using the multiply blending mode made the colors on the car so bright and intense. The two desert scenes are fabulous, also.

Dspec01- You have been taking some really great spring pictures. Ortonizing works well on the blooms of the trees and the pink dogwoods are a showpiece. The leafy trail is great too. I love the bike rider in the distance.

Kimmer- I never really thought of using this on macros, but your image is great. The frame work is a great finish to the picture.

Suzanne- Another bench that I want to sit on. Your picture has a great perspective and I love the crop. The Orton Effect works really well here.

Debra- Your picture has such great contrasts between the colorful balls and the desert. I love that artist and hope that I will get to go to one of his exhibits one day.

Bill- Love the perspective of your picture. Makes you feel how small the car is. I don’t know anything about cars so I had to Google Chrysler Crossfire. One of those little sports cars you see people tooling around the mountains here.

Martha- I love both of your images. The framework is great. Very pretty peonies.

Toni- Your two pictures are so colorful and appealing. I was a little afraid to try it people, but your image is great. The boats are absolutely beautiful.

Laura- As I have said before – Welcome! Your picture is great. I love the hint of the black fence behind the colorful flowers. The soft focus makes them look dreamy.

Pat- Your iris is indeed beautiful. I love how I can see detail along with the soft focus.

Mariangela- Your picture is beautiful. I love the contrasts between the browns and the greens. The Orton Effect really makes the leaves look beautiful.

Emkayess- Before this Be Creative, I did not realize that the Orton Effect looked so good on moving water. Your fountain looks really good. Great image.

Margie- Another Welcome! is in order. Your picture is great, and Ortinizing makes the tiger look wonderful.

Whew! I am out of breath. Great images and great work. Now on to the next challenge.
