As I sat in the wet grass on Saturday morning waiting for something interesting to happen at the local sand hill crane nest there was "Changing of the guard". One of the crane was sitting on a nest, another walked up and took over the nest after appearing to count the eggs. I just dont have any good ideas of how to present these photos in a consecutive way. Any thoughts out there?

Would like to see your crane photos but the link says you do not have any photos in your gallery? I have seen this before but can not remember what the problem was.

Thanks, Tina, for reminding me that my gallery was empty. Have put a few pics in, including some of the sandhill cranes - I have eight photos I would like to use. I am getting some photos ready for a landscape 8.5 by 11 photobook. I could use two pages for this layout. Should I reverse the photos so the eye goes from left to right? I could use the water for the background paper. Just need some presentation ideas. I think I need to go back and try to get a sandhill crane flying. Also hoping for photos of the chicks. Jean

Sorry I can't help with your layout (you really don't want me to!!) but I have to tell you that your photos are gorgeous. I was so impressed with the first photograph with the orange flowers. It is spectacular!! I love your presentation.

Wow, Jean - I don't know about a presentation of the multiple photos - but that first photo with the crane and the honeysuckle(?) is amazing! That could be published in so many ways. More people need to see that one! Great work!

The white heron photo was taken at San Diego Wild Animal Park. It is two photos, one of the heron that was in the distance behind the flame vine - so the vine was out of focus. Then took the flame vine in focus and through the powers of PSE5 I moved the heron into the foreground. So glad you liked it. Jean

I am upset - went to visit the sandhill cranes today and the nest and birds have gone. Looks as though an alligator slithered up the low bank from the marks. What a shame. I was looking forward to seeing babies. Jean
