Just wondering, how much it took for the paper copy book of elements to arrive on your subscriptions?

I opened a 2-year account on the 14th of April and still have not received anything...

Don't panic. I live 25 miles away from their office and sometimes I get my issue weeks after the rest of the world. The Post Office is a strange beast sometimes....

Well, I also subscribed around that time and in a week or two got a lot of stuff in the mail. Maybe you should contact them.

What do you mean by "paper copy book of elements"?

If you are talking about the PET Newsletter, there a 6 issues a year. The issues come out every 2 months. The next on (May/June) should ship out soon.

This is what I am talking about...

The paper copy book of Elements. I am about to call my credit card company to cancel everything.

The customer service support is the worst ever I have seen.

Since I joined all I have received is The Best of Elements Vol 3, which is 2008 stuff, and The Best of Elements Techniques Vol 2, which I think is old stuff from 2007. Besides that, nothing else...

The website seems very inconsistent, it seems to me they just send stuff without keeping record. I have left messages a few times, sent them emails and no reply in regards to the book. I will wait a few more days and contact my credit card company. Honestly, it is terrible service, well in other words it does not exist. I get better customer support from some guy in China when asking questions on EBAY than from this lady Automated system.

Just right now I left another message; if you, customer service, is out there and by any chance read the forums or someone knows her, please be kind enough to respond...

ADDED BONUS: Subscribe for 2 years, and get Scott Kelby's $50 Elements book (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/subscribe/#book) FREE!

When you first subscribe the first copy ususally takes 6-8 weeks to arrive. In practice however most people get theirs within a month (although overseas issues can take longer) Once you've received the first issue, the others arrive much quicker.

Personally I've always found customer service very helpful. Have you tried calling them (503-968-1813)?

I am going to have to go with Bayla and say that the PET support has always been great for me as well. Try calling them again, or maybe even emailing them.

Plus the offers that they are giving for new subscribers are great. When I first subscribed, I did get a free book, it was PSE5 Photo Restoration by Dave Cross. Since then I renewed once and got a free DVD. The offers I am seeing now though are fantastic, regardless of how OLD the videos are and getting past issues!!!

Hi ElitKlik:

Waiting is the hardest part in first getting started, and getting in the loop. The book may have to come from Kelby directly, However I'm not positive, the rest will come in a few weeks. They are revamping the site, filling orders, and trying to keep everything going as all this is taking place. I just did a two year renewal, even a month early so there wont be a break in my subscription time. Rick is on here quite often, do a forum search concerning PET or search post by Rick LePage and you will see whats happening. Personally, I think it's worth the wait..

I am also a new member and cannot fault anything
I thought being in Australia eveything would take ages to come
I am not sure about the book I joined up for two years also
But everything I have recieved so far has made the money well spent
please try and be patient

I agree with Bayla and the others. I think the customer service is great here. We just get so impatient and sometimes it is not their fault. I know I ordered some books from Amazon last week. The warehouse is only 20 miles from where I had them shipped and they are taking over 6 days to get here!!!!! Go figure. :D

The videos on the DVD's are excellent and you have pdf copies of the back issues, that is a lot of info to be going over and learning while you are waiting for the next magazine and your book from Scott.
