A part of the guard rail system on the mountain road behind my apartment going to Anmin Pass, Jinhae, Korea.

Now THAT looks photoshopped! ;) Love when that happens.
Nice shot.

Nice shot Joe. Is the entire guard rail the same as in your pic? I'm guessing it is not Photoshopped. There are paint drippings on the inside of the tire. It will be interesting to see the answer.

Oh! I meant I'm sure it is not Photoshopped, but I love when it looks like something has been when it hasn't. Sheesh. Does THAT make sense?

Oops!! My misunderstanding. :) Shar, you're right it sure looks like it could be Photoshopped though.

Shar & Mary Lou, thank you for your comments and analysis. Nearly the entire road up the mountain, several kilometers, is lined with these tires and concrete blocks to prevent people from driving off the edge. The photo was taken in Camera Raw. I did some exposure corrections and cropped in Raw and opened in CS4 to make the framing and add my signature. The tire really is painted a bright yellow, that part was not doctored in PhotoShop.
When everyone else was taking shots from the scenic overview, I was taking shots of old tires painted yellow. They thought I went off the deep end. Glad you like it.

Which "deep end" did you go off of? Not the one protected by the tires I hope! ;):D:eek: Nice job on the photo. Takes a "deep end" mind to get photos like that!

Thank you Suzanne, (I think!) I guess going off the deep end is not such a bad thing. Glad you like this image.
