Hello,
My name is Amy and I am 27 years old. I just purchased Photoshop Elements 6 for the Mac. Im looking foward to it. I know very little about it. Ive used it once for a college class, but that was a while ago. Im looking to make forum signatures at first as well as collages and montages. Im sure there are so many otehr things I can do with it as well.
Ive been watching YouTube videos and found this forum. Im ready to learn.
Ok back to reading threads.

Hi Amy ..
... and welcome to the Village :)
If you want to learn then you certainly have come to the right place. The is a subscriber area of the Village, its called Photoshop Elements Techniques and its well worth joining. Last time I counted there were around 270 Video tutorial and about 150 written ones, plus new ones are added each month so the collection is growing all the time and you get a snail mail newsletter 6 times a year too .. so it really is great value.

Thanks for the welcome!
In regards to Wendy, Does the Elements package and magazine talk about the MAC version? Or is there really a difference between the MAC and Windows? Thanks
Amy

Hi Amy ..
There really isn't a lot of difference between the Mac & Windows versions of Elements.
As far as the Editor goes its just the shortcuts that have different keys ... but most tutorials give both sets of shortcuts and its easy to translate the keys as its mainly just three that are different.
Then the Windows versions has the Organiser and us Mac users get Adobe Bridge ... but few tutorials are for Bridge or the Organiser so thats no problem.
... and there are lots of us Mac users around on the forum anyway so we will help if you get stuck :)
Wendy
PS ... I am going to be away for a few days but if you have any queries then one of the other Mac users will help.
