Using multiple catalogs and importing

I have set up multiple catalogs in E5 and seperated photos how I want them. The problem I am trying to resolve is how to, when importing new photos from the camera, to specify which catalog I want the photos to go in to. They seem to go into the last catalog that was opened. I don't want to have to start the organizer and select the catalog, then have to run the downloader.
Is there a way to specify which catalog to import in to without running the organizer?

I have multiple catalogs under PSE 5. What I do is to start the Organizer, switch to the catalog that I wish to use (if it was not the most recently used catalog), then do the Get Photos command from within the Organizer (under the File menu) to bring in my photo files.

That's what I was trying to avoid. I have the downloader set up to automatically start when a memory card is inserted.

Sorry - I don't know for sure if there is a way to choose the catalog after the downloader automatically starts. I am content to start the Organizer as I described.

This is a good reason to avoid multiple catalogs.

This is not currently possible in PSE to do this, and its been like this for past many versions.
