I put a couple of new photos in my PET gallery. We are almost to summer here and it always comes so fast! Wild oats reminds me of childhood on a ranch . . .

Nice composition on the 'wild oats' photo, Doris....and the frame adds to it.
Curious if you did the frame using bevels or one already made?

Hi Roln, frankly, I'm not good with premade frames! It seems easier for me to lay down rectangular shapes in separate layers and then I can switch them around and change colors all I want. So, yes, this is done with plain rectangles with bevels and/or drop shadows added. Thanks for stopping by!

Ahh, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that's not doing well with premade frames. I'm using PSE-7 and under the "create" section, there are a number of frames. Tried several and never did get one to look like I wanted.
So, I began messing with rectangles and even an oval shape. With a little more experience, I may be able to create frames to fit the pictures.

I know what you mean, Roln. I can't get the premade ones to have the correct thickness. I should try the oval idea, that sounds good to me! Post a photo and frame when you get one you like. I use the eyedropper tool on my photo to get the mat colors. That way I always know I'm matching to the photo. Let us know how it is working out!
