Keeps me broke buying seed cakes. He's so brazen, that he doesn't even jump down when I knock on the window to get him off. In both galleries.

What a cute photo, Suzanne! I love the soft framing, too. This guy obviously doesn't mind defying a little gravity to swipe a snack!

Suzanne - that photo is a "hoot" - they are so clever when they want the bird food.

Suzanne,
Once they know you'll get that wallet out, they don't have a care in the world.

It was just a background that I had stored on my computer. I made it into a fill pattern, enlarged the canvas and filled it with that background. I had to use the smudge tool a little bit to blur where the pattern repeated itself. The outer frame is one that comes with Elements. I think it is called WOW Chrome.

Suzanne,
Nice shot Iwatched a show on TV about squirrels and bird feeders. thke producers created so many different and difficult setups in bird feeders to see if they could make one that would be too difficult for the squirrels to get into but they always managed. It was interesting to watch them figure it all out.

They are creative little devils A long time ago we had a bird feeder that the squirrels couldn't get into. It was made of steel, had a hopper in the back that held the seed. In the front was a small "shelf" that the birds could land on and get the seed from small openings. It had a spring attached to the shelf, which was too tight for the birds to press down, but when the squirrels landed on it, the "shelf" would go down from the squirrel's weight and close the small openings that the seed came out of. It was so much fun seeing them try to get into it. The hopper had a very secure closing. The squirrels would chew on that steel to try to get into it, and then they would jump on the shelf, which would then close up the openings. It literally drove them nuts! I don't know what ever happened to it. I do remember it was expensive. This was back in the '80s and I think it was over $50 even then. But it did save a lot of bird seed. It looked something like this, except it had just one feeding station on one side, not both like the picture. Found this one on Amazon.
