Helen - 'Loonie Toonie Tuesday' has a nice ring though! ;) And when they say "limited time only" do you suppose the offer expires on Monday?? That would be a cruel joke!

Cheap eats....This ought to be an interesting challenge.
Wonder if Val would mine me using her cans of beans?

Yea Tony, but compared to that $8.00 Turkey and Cheese sandwich I had down there, it's cool.

Ellen - what a great shot! I loved reading the whole menu.
Particularly 1/4 lb of "piglets" for $3.75!
Cheers,

I took my shot after lunch (and got sauce on my camera). This has been fun and telling so far...

For not spending a lot of money we sure ate well!!
Sharon – Nice job with the appetizer course. With bait, beer and Amish candy they seem to have a little something for everyone.
Helen - I still think that Looney Tooney Tuesday rolls off the tongue nicely. Nice shots that certainly fit the theme well.
Eleanor - Free is certainly cheap! I'm not sure that sharing is first and foremost on the chef's mind though! ;)
Clara – I love Lucky Dogs, and I can never see one of the carts without thinking of Ignatius J. Reilly from the hilarious book A Confederacy of Dunces. Were you down there for the Jazz Festival?? Great photo Clara.
Byron – Sorry about the confusion ... sometimes I mumble. One thing is for sure though you didn't get any cheap eats at The Coliseum. I suppose you have to take solace in seeing a nice 5-2 win over the Rays. As far as I'm concerned that was a good baseball day all around, my Mariners held on to win and Boston took care of the Yankees, although it took them half an eternity.
Kim – I'll have one of everything please. Those are some amazing prices! I like the hose holder with the hubcap on the old wheel.
Steven – We buy the same peanut butter! ;-) That's really an interesting treatment and it's always nice to see tater tots getting their due recognition.
Toni – Yum! That all looks fabulous ... I'll see you on Monday. I like the lighting ... it's a very compelling ad!
Linda – Finally something healthy ... I mean besides the Tater Tots. You did a great job freezing the water droplets coming off it too!!
Sepiana – What a wonderfully colorful shot. Isn't it comforting to know that all those wonderful goodies are nearby??
Ellen – Nice job getting us out of the health food section! That looks like a place where I'd like to start at the top of the menu and just work my way down one thing at a time. Wonderful shot ... sorry about getting debris on your camera ... way to take one for the themes.
TonyK – Nice collage to remember your dining by. I'll bet that you had much better food from the stands than you would have on the resort.
TonyW – Great find .... and congratulations on getting a second gig. ;-) I think 10 pounds of ribs for $30 pretty much qualifies it for cheap eats too. Nicely done.
Good stuff as always this week folks ... there's still lots of time left for more.

Bill - I laughed both times when you mentioned "Looney Tooney" (made me think of Looney Tunes), but could not think of a clever reply!

I had no idea until I googled how many Looney Tunes characters there were.

Thanks so much, Bill, for the comments. You never fail to amaze me with the knowledge that you have in your head. I had heard of the character Ignatius J. Reilly, but I have never read the book. I think that I will put it on my list of things to read, though. My sister and I were on a mission to take our 90 year old mother to New Orleans to see my cousin. The city was packed out because of the jazz fest, but we didn't see any of it. We has a good time, however.
