I found this forum while trying to figure out why I wasn't getting thumbnails since upgrading to the latest version of Elements. I still don't know the answer to my question, but it looks like a nice community. I think I'll hang around.

I've been shooting with an SLR since the early '60s. Went digital when Canon's 10D first came out and I've been an Elements user ever since. Now I have a 30D. I shoot mostly drag racing, nature, and zoo animals. Yes, it has been a strange journey. Hope it stays that way.

My graphic designer son makes fun of me for not upgrading to full blown Photoshop, but frankly, Elements does about everything I need to do. Oh, and I do it on an Intel iMac, not that it matters.

Hi Jim, welcome to the Village!! Yay, another Mac user! You will find tons of nice people and likewise information on this forum. There is always someone to chime in on a question, whether it be Mac or PC. I've also moved from SLR to DSLR. I still have my old Pentax! They made great lenses! Make yourself at home!
