This board is awesome!!! I have learned so much already, it really is a blessing to me.
I am Amy - 38 years old, living in Michigan with my 6 kiddos, hubby and assorted animals. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember, it all started with scrapbooking. I used to be a Creative memories consultant. I have wanted a Canon Rebel for about 11 years and hubby got me one a few weeks ago. I have much to learn on it - taking a photography class next month. After I had the camera a few days (literally), I knew picnik wasn't gonna cut it for editing and hubby spoiled me again with PSE6 on my MAC. So - now I plus away leaning a new camera and elements. My head spins most days!
Hobbies outside of pictures - I am active in my church, called to minister to the teens in my area - the skaters mostly. I ride a Honda Shadow 600 and I *LOVE* it. What's even better is riding my bike somewhere to take pics :-) That's pretty much it.
Again I have to say how awesome you guys are here - I have felt welcomed and at "home" and I can't wait until I know enough to actually help someone else.
