I have recently purchased Elements 7 and have read that combining it with Adobe Lightroom gives an alternative option for those of us not in a position to purchase the full photoshop package.

With Elements having RAW conversion software I was just wondering what additional benefits there are to purchasing Lightroom 2 and what your views are on whether or not it is worth the additional expenditure when I already have Elements?

Thanks

Lightroom offers some powerful editing tools from Adobe Camera Raw that are not available with ACR in PSE. That made the purchase of Lightroom for me (a big fan of PSE) worthwhile. Lightroom also has very good Slideshow and Web modules.

The Lightroom Library Module has more power and features than the PSE Organizer, but for me that wouldn't be enough to purchase Lightroom.

So the question goes back to you ... do you feel you need more powerful editing features? If so, which more powerful editing features (the ones you want may or may not be in Lightroom)? Are you the kind of person who uses an Organizer like in PSE? (because Lightroom pretty much forces you to use their Library Module)
