I noticed there are numerous threads about the same problem with earlier versions, but the problem started for me when I updated to PSE 7 a few months ago.

If you are familiar with this problem, you know it when you try to use the Share feature in PSE and the Outlook Express window opens but there is no Send button. Of course can use forward or save the email to disk, but what an inconvenience... also the Photomail would be an alternative, but it seems to take forever for those emails to arrive.... this feature worked so nice in the past with my previous versions of PSE.

Found the fix!!! And I can't believe it was so simple!!

Note, the download option wouldn't work for me because it gave me a message that I had a later security update, so I had to manually edit the registry. I'm not a computer guru, but it was very easy... I just made sure I made a system restore point as it suggested before editing the registry.

Here is the edit I made, per the instructions and I can now use the Share feature again which now shows a Send button as it should:
To enable this hotfix, edit the registry by following these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
Type FEATURE_HONOR_XUNSENT_IN_FILE to name the key, and then press ENTER.
Right-click FEATURE_HONOR_XUNSENT_IN_FILE, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type msimn.exe to name the value, and then press ENTER.
Right-click msimn.exe, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, click OK, and then exit Registry Editor.

I was also having the problem that it showed Sender Unspecified in Outlook Express, but I solved that by going into preferences for Sharing, selecting the Adobe Photo Email and setting up my email identity... let it send me the confirmation email, and after all that was done, went back to Sharing in Preferences and set it back to Outlook Express. My email addy then showed up under From when an email was created using the Share feature.
I hope this helps save someone else some headache because I know I spent about 3 days looking for the solution!

Paval and others:

Thanks for the help and directions. It was more than a little tense for me, editing the registry, but it worked. Now the real question - shouldn't Adobe come up with a fix/update to deal with this?

Thanks again.
