hi all i have a question about elements 6 is there a way to lighten up the programs window so i can see the arrows mine is all black and when im trying to change things in the drop down windows i cant see it . so if someone has a fix for this please let me know, ive looked in prefernces but didnt see anything and dont wanna change something i shouldnt. guess i should add this too. perfect example is when i open up the brush drop down list i can hardly see the brushes cuz background is so dark.

Hi moonchaser-
This is one of the things they added to version 7...the ability to adjust the interface color. Unfortunately, in 6, the dark interface is what it is...

Some things that can ameliorate the problem by increasing the relative contrast between the shades of grey:
- Calibrate your display using a calibrator like the Sypder.
- Adjust the brightness and contrast of your display so that you can see all the shades of grey and white in an adjustment chart such as this:

To improve the visibility of the brushes drop-down, click the double-right-arrow on the side of the drop-down and select Stroke Thumbnail or Large List (see the attached screen shot).

Thank you all the help not quite sure how to use the calibration thing without interfering with whole computer so i'll leave it alone but the drop down menue fix worked gr8
