I wasn't sure what I could think of for Accessories. Then Brian suggested that I use these gold Eagle earrings that he bought for me on a trip to Port Hardy (north Vancouver Island). They were created by a young artist from Alert Bay.

A group of men were practicing for a re-enactment next to my house today. This shot is a man standing with his firelock (muzzle loading gun) & I'm sure in his belt pack there he kept his charges.

We recently "re-did" our master suite, including luxurious new bedding (at a great price from Overstock.com ! ! !). The old artwork we had just wasn't making it any longer, and when I spotted this wall sculpture at Dania Furniture, I gasped and my heart stood still. It was the PERFECT accessory for our new bedding (& cost almost 3x as much!). After sputtering a bit over the price, DH agreed--it had to come live at our house. Thus my entry for Bedroom ACCESSORY!

This gave me a chance to experiment with a lightbox, even though it seems the table I had it on was too small, so the lights were too close. But, that's part of learning.......;) Anyway, these are daily accessories to my life...

I only had my phone with me for pictures. The air out there was really baaad, we covered our nose and mouth with towels. Thankfully everyone got off the bus with no injuries and the Fire Department did an excellent job of putting it out and cleaning up the mess.

This week's theme sent me on a dig, deep into the recesses of my closet. Carbon dating shows that these accessories go back (waaaayyyy back) to the tuxedo era!
