Rob, your photo is exquisite. It should be a piece of wall art.

Helen - Your earrings are very cool!
Rob - talk about being in the right place at the right time!
Shar - you're right! The price was surely worth it! That is perfect for your new bedroom!
Steven - Bach Flower Essences? I can't believe the descriptions on those bottles! One drop from each and you're cured of the 7 deadly sins! And you can also get a good buzz going from the alcohol!!!

Shar - your bedroom looks like a magazine! Very cool!
Ellen - love the flare bouncing off that ring. You've accessorized the accessory! :D

Debra--Love the rich colors of your sewing accessories! And the thimbles. I've never mastered the use of a thimble.

Kim- He gets 6-9 drops a day, so I don't think Toot is getting any buzz!
Ellen- That ring would go well with your Secret Sam Shooting pipe! And you were right, 20 years yesterday. Ms. Sky already rivals Liberace in the ring department, so I will politely decline your offer.:D

Well, Kim, I'm figuring the Band Aids are for those paper cuts, but what are the Q-Tips for? Getting a throat culture for when you get a cough? :p

Steven, the Q-tips are used to plug up our ears when clients complain about our fees! ;) And the New Skin is the only thing that holds me together! I get so many paper cuts during tax season, without it, I'd leak like a sieve when drinking a glass of water!

Nice work accessorizing this week folks … I didn’t see one mismatched belt!
Helen – What a way to get us started! The warm glow of the earrings is a nice contrast to the stark background. Well done!
Steven – I’ll say it again … you have very fortunate cats. I like the lighting on your shot, there’s just enough in the background to lead the eyes deep into the photo. That’s quite a chemistry set!
Rob – That’s another great entry. The b&w treatment is great and your use of the vignette draws the focus to the weapon’s accessories.
Shar – In addition to being a nice photo, your treatment goes with it superbly. It’s hard to see where one ends and the other picks up. Nice entry.
Suzanne – That’s a helpful bunch of accessories alright. Nice composition too; using your keyboard as the background works really well.
Debra –That’s such a fun and colorful image it would be a shame to only use it once. ;) I really like this one a lot. The needles are as sharp photographically as they are physically, and the colors of all the threads and cushions play very nicely off the white background.
Denise – The red accessories look great. I like the shadows on the critter’s legs … they look like accessories in their own right.
Ellen – Dang … I fell for it again! Nice April Fool’s Day shot … the sparkle in the center of the stone is great.
Lorri – That’s a great illustration of the illusion of wireless communication. It doesn’t take long for the stuff to collect does it?
Eleanor – Experimenting and learning is the whole idea with the photo themes. That’s a great collection and a un composition. The pink basketball toy is a hoot. I imagine the cookie was given to the pooch in exchange for borrowing all his/her stuff.
Sharon – Wow … the photo themes now has it’s own ace news reporter! That must have been terrifying for the folks on the bus. I’m glad they all got off safely. And there’s nothing quite like the smell of a burning vehicle is there. Yuck. You did a great job with your cell phone camera … which makes me wonder if we should have that as a theme one of these days.
Linda – Fun earrings! I’ve taken the liberty of linking (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-L1DayIzXWI/SdVOs1NkaRI/AAAAAAAABhM/C62cxv7NAZ4/s1600-h/DSC03827.jpg) the higher res version from your blog. They look to be hanging, rather than laying on something. You did a great job making them look like they’re hanging in thin air. Your second shot is great too … I didn’t realize the design was Asian characters until I went to the hi res (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-L1DayIzXWI/SdabL2Q7rnI/AAAAAAAABhU/PS3rHzLV-IU/s1600-h/DSC03831.jpg) on your blog. Do you know what they mean??
Toni – That’s really an attractive composition. The rose coloring works nicely with the golds and the soft white background works really well with it. Nice job!
Clara – The link to your first image is broken, but intrepid photo theme followers can find it here (http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1QbeyjJUi28GGoz2ZojCEAQRSFBS01). You have ‘let slip’ that you’re a ‘Bama fan. I knew the nickname Criimson Tide, but I was unaware there was an elephant involved. Thanks to our good friends at Google I now know the story (http://www.rolltide.com/trads/elephant.html) behind it. Fun images Clara and nice border treatment as well. Roll Tide!
Kim – Yipes! If all that fell into the wrong hands a nation could be anesthetized. Your shot is another good example of just enough light in the background to bring the eye in. Well done.
Nice work this week … there’s still plenty of time, so tell a friend.

Bill, Thank you so much for the comments. You have really put me to shame. I had no idea that there was a story behind the elephants being Alabama's mascot. My husband is a walking encyclopedia of Alabama football, and he had never heard this story before. In Alabama, we are all mixed up anyway. We have the Auburn Tigers whose mascot is the War Eagle, and the Alabama Crimson Tide whose mascot is the elephant. Children are taught from birth to love one and hate the other.
By the way, your photo is excellent. The perspective and the DOF are perfect. I love how you arranged the buttons.

Bill, you've outdone your self this week in your comments, how nice of you to pop the links in . I love your shot, now that they are out front you'll have to dress up. Great DOF and i love how you set it up.

I find myself looking forward to these photo themes now that I know a wee (& I do mean wee) bit more about my camera. I wasn't really happy with the way the lightbox showed up, but I came to the conclusion that it's probably better for taking pictures of smaller items. Such as this:

My husband would consider that an accessory. :D
Thanks for the challenges. & yes, the pooch sure did wonder what was going on & got her treat.
