Hi Denise ...
It sounds like you may have updates your Quicktime ... and the newer versions can cause some problems.
Try downloading VCL media player and use that instead ... it seems to play just about anything :)

I usually update my Quicktime whenever they update and when I update iTunes and don't have any problems viewing the videos. So I doubt it may be a Quicktime thing. Maybe more of a Vista thing though.
Denise
What browser are you using? Maybe try a different browser.

Wendy, what I did first was update my quicktime.. now it is fine, back to normal.... nothing to do with Vista..Vista changed ALOT since I first got it 1 1/2 years ago on my laptop and had Dell take it back and put back windows XP...then, that one got fried by lightning.. now, I did have to get Vista with my 17" screen they told me...I dont mind it at all now.........its just fine............ Thanx for your help and quick responses though! I appreciate it!

Hi Denise ...
So glad that it is now working ... Apple made some changes to Quicktime and it meant that sometimes you can't see the Videos properly.
Jonknee the web guy suggested that if that happens then try VCL Media Player instead of Quicktime :) .. apparently VCL Media player will play almost anything

Wendy, how do you get the Subscriber Videos to play in VLC, which I have on my Hard Disk? TIA, Ed Weidman.

Hi Ed ...
Hopefully this will work ... but being a Mac User I am not great on Windows :)
Right click on one of the Videos on your hard drive and select "Open With". Then select the Choose Program option from the menu. Select VCL to open the Video from the list and also check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box.
Fingers crossed those instructions are OK ... if not then I am sure one of the others will post a correction :)

I have Vista and I can't download quicktime player to watch those great videos. I get a message saying the my administrator won't allow it. Anyone know what I should do?

OK there are two possibilities:
1) If it is YOUR computer, you must log in as the administrator so you can install Quicktime.
2) If it is a computer at WORK, then the IT (or ISC, or computer dept) must log in as administrator to install QT. They do this to prevent installing programs. I know my ISC dept does.
