I have followed the video in the subscriber area for doing the page curl, but after you make the curl it wants you to fill the left over area with black (it puts the price). I want it transparent.
I am going to put these pics onto another pic and I want the background pic to show behind the curl.
I have used the magic wand for the selection as the video says, I then pressed delete on keyboard but nothing happened. I can still see the part of the pic that is left there under the curl. I know it is probably simple but I can't figure it out.
Hope this make sense.

Holy cow I solved it myself. Why is it I spent hours trying to solve something and as soon as I post my problem here I go back and try a few more ideas and I get it solved. Weird:o. Typing it out seems to get the brain going more I guess.:)
all I had to do was click on the background layer and click delete. I told you it would be simple

Boy this is getting really embarassing:o I thought I had it solved but now it is white instead of transparent. So I still need your help.

I'm guessing you flattened it afterwards, which would fill any transparent areas with white. Save without flattening as a psd or tiff file to keep the transparency.

Nope I didn't flatten it. :o I wasn't going to reply to this because again I have solved it myself:o All I had to do is click on the background layer and use the background eraser tool.
Sorry for all this nonsense.:D

Oh we have all been there ... so don't worry about it :) :)
My guess is that when you did save (or save as) you chose jpg ... and jpg doesn't support transparency so the area would become white.
